The Zulufadder Educational Fund

Singer songwriter Kari Bremnes won the "Agenda Northern Norway Honorary Prize" in 2017 - and chose to donate the money to the Zulufadder Educational Fund.

Since 2015, Agenda Nord-Norge has awarded an honorary award to people who have contributed to promoting Northern Norway pride and identity.

Last week, the communications manager of Agenda Northern Norway, Mari Nilsen, came to South Africa to meet two of the students receiving support from the Zulufadder Educational Fund.

Mari and filmmaker Lars met Siphumelelo and Nosipho at their respective universities in Pretoria and Pietermaritzburg, before heading for Zululand and home visits to the families of the girls.

Thank you very much to Kari Bremnes and Agenda Northern Norway! You make it possible for us to give girls a higher education!
