Design with a meaning
Zulu by Heyerdahl is a specially designed and exclusive diamond ring, and all proceeds from its sale will go towards the building of houses for orphans with the help of Zulufadder ("Zulusponsor"). For every ring that is sold, a house will be built. When you buy the ring you will be kept informed on the progress of the construction of the house and, when it is complete, you will receive a picture of the finished house and the eight children and one adult who will be able to live there, and get a new life.
Only 14 rings will be produced and each ring will be engraved with an individual number on the inside. The price is NOK 27,800. As always, Heyerdahl only uses conflict-free diamonds that are certified by the UN.
Ecologically gained gold and conflict free diamonds
Zulu by Heyerdahl is made of pure ecologically gained gold. A specific certified mine is picked out to produce of the gold in this product. The raw material is gained without any chemical additives such as mercuric or cyanide and therefore the environment and the living space of the people who live and work there are protected. Due to the limited output of gold per year, only a certain number of products can be made. So not least to this circumstance, Zulu by Heyerdahl attains particular exclusiveness.

The diamond used in this ring is from countries of no-war zones, where the digging, trading and further processing contribute to social development. The Diamonds have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict in compliance with United Nations (UN) resolutions. The seller hereby guarantees that these diamonds are conflict free, based on personal knowledge and / or written guarantee provided by the supplier of these diamonds.
This unique ring will be available at Heyerdahl's boutiques from the beginning of December, but Quintessentially members can buy a ring as the first knowing about the project, and start helping the cause by emailing norway@quintessentially.com now.
